"A unique summer experience at the Jersey Shore"

WHAT IS SHOW PLACE???   Show Place is an "audience participatory ice cream parlour," located 1 block from the ocean in Beach Haven, New Jersey.  Show Place offers a unique blend of family entertainment and America's favorite treat - ice cream - all in the hands of a talented team of singing waiters and waitresses!!!  Show Place's one of a kind operation assures that all menu items are prepared and delivered with a "Show Biz" flair.  In a nutshell, Showplace customers join in the fun by taking the spotlight and singing Show Place jingles or performing for their desserts.  Each seating culminates with a Broadway type revue performed by tht Show Place cast.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

 1) Two up-tempo Broadway style songs (preferably accompanied) on a VHS video cassette

2) Resume (performance AND work experience)

3) Genuine self-photo (headshot not necessary)

4) Personal statement (brief paragraph narrating your hobbies, unique experiences, future goals, and your answer to the question: "Why does this job sound interesting to you?")

We are looking for young individuals who can move well, sing well by themselves and with others, work wonderfully with customers and fellow employees, have vibrant personalities, are prepared to sing up a storm, have a strong sense of humor, and can maintain grace under pressure.

Compensation includes salary, tips, and discounted housing.
