Kelly Shoemaker
After spending the last year touring the state of New Jersey as a member of Surflight's traveling childrens' theatre Surflight To Go, Kelly is thrilled to be spending her second summer here at the Show Place Ice Cream Parlour! You may have seen her recently on Surflight's mainstage as Betty Chumley in Harvey and Mrs. Snoring Man in White Christmas, but this summer, Kelly's happy as a clam in chowder to be surrounded by good friends, the ocean, and Show Place's famous ice cream (mint chocolate chip is her favorite)! A native "Cheesehead" from Wisconsin who relocated to the Big Apple. Kelly has a BA in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, and a performance degree in Musical theatre from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Her favorite theatre roles include Guenevere in Camelot, Meg March in Little Women, Pam in Baby, Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods, and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes.
